Pierre Fabre Medical Information Center provides responses to unsolicited requests for information from health care providers related to Pierre Fabre products. Our goal is to contribute to improvement of patient outcomes by providing the most comprehensive information that is based on scientific evidence.

Scientific Support - Medical Scientific Liaisons

Pierre Fabre is committed to further education and scientific support related to Pierre Fabre products. Medical Science Liaisons are field based members of the Medical Affairs Team. Our Medical Science Liaison team consists of doctorate level professionals who are responsible for educating health care professionals about Pierre Fabre products and the therapeutic areas related. They are creating collaborations with experts in these specific fields, and facilitating the exchange of scientific information relevant to Pierre Fabre products.

Medical Science Liaisons can provide an opportunity for physicians to receive the latest information on both Pierre Fabre products as well as new disease state related information in an efficient and convenient manner. Medical scientific liaison team does not promote Pierre Fabre products and always conducts these interactions according to legal and regulatory guidelines and policies.

Medical Education

Pierre Fabre Medical Affairs is committed to support medical education activities that address educational needs of physicians and other health care providers and improve patient outcomes.

Supported Therapeutic Areas

  • Oncology

Supported programs must be independent, objective, balanced, and scientifically rigorous. Grants will not be based, in any way, on past, present, or future prescribing, purchasing or recommending (including formulary recommendations) of any Pierre Fabre drugs or devices.

Grant Request Submission Process

  • Grant request must be submitted minimum 60 days prior to the event start date
  • Pierre Fabre Medical Education Grant Review Committee will decide whether the grant will be supported and will notify the requestor about the decision
  • Budget reconciliation must be submitted to Pierre Fabre Medical Education department within 90 days after the conclusion of the event and unused funds over $100 returned to Pierre Fabre Aesthetics

Pierre Fabre is unable to fund educational events organized by individual physicians in private practice. If the educational activity is accredited, grant application must be submitted by the Accredited Provider.

Types of educational grants eligible for funding

  • Live Programs – symposia, conferences, teleconferences
  • Enduring Programs – on-demand multi-media, internet-based materials, webinars, live webcasts
  • Combined (Live and Enduring) Programs – combines both real-time faculty with stand-alone print, recorded, computer assisted, or internet based instructional materials on the same topics as the live event

Investigator Initiated Research

  • Pierre Fabre is committed to enhance science and patient care with conducting company sponsored research as well as fund certain research projects initiated by independent investigators and research groups (Investigator Initiated Research Study). The purpose of this program is to support investigators who have research ideas to use Pierre Fabre products to obtain new knowledge that could advance our understanding of a specific drug or device and contribute to improvement of patient care.

  • Our support complies with laws and regulations; the Anti-Kickback Statute, the False Claims Act and the Compliance Program Guidance for Pharmaceutical Manufacturers of the Office of Inspector General (OIG).
