A UNIQUE SITE IN FRANCE
The Aignan site, situated among the vineyards of Saint-Mont about 90 minutes from Toulouse, benefits from a preserved environment. The site develops, manufactures and packages boiled sugar in a pharmaceutical environment. In 2008, the site invested in a cutting-edge continuous boiled sugar manufacturing process that led to tripling its capacity and offering a manufacturing process a procedure compatible with sensitive molecules. This makes it a unique site of its kind in France. It is certified by the French agency ANSM for the production of boiled sugars and approved by the European Medicines Agency (EMA).
The site has offered subcontracting services for third parties for many years. A contract was signed in 2011 with the Italian firm Angelini for the production of some of their products.
- Created in 1983, the site grew around the technology of boiled sugar, initially in the form of lollies.
